Captain Craig Malcolm, ASAP Chairman

Chairman - Captain Craig Malcolm (Air New Zealand)

Captain Craig Malcolm, Administrative Head of the Air NZ Jet Pilot Council at NZALPA for the last 5 years, is the Chairman of the Associations of Star Alliance Pilots Executive Board, known as ASAP. He has been with Air New Zealand for 30 years, having flown F27’s B767’s 747’s and 777’s and is currently a Boeing 787 Captain based in Auckland. He has a strong background in Industrial negotiations and advocacy on behalf of pilots.

Captain Bill Collins, ASAP Vice-Chairman

Vice Chair - Captain William (Bill) Collins (Air Canada)

Captain William(Bill) Collins has been with Air Canada for 10 years. He is Chairman of the ACA MEC Scope Committee.

Based in Toronto, Canada, he is currently on the A320 with previous experience on the A330.

He’s been an active ASAP member since 2018.

Ron Pellatt, ASAP Secretary-Treasurer

Secretary Treasurer - Captain Ron Pellatt (Air Canada)

Captain Ron Pellatt has been a member of the Star Alliance Pilots Association since 2009, and is also Chair of the Air Canada MEC’s Scope Committee.

Based in Toronto, he is currently a Line Indoc Training Captain (LITC) on the B777, and has flown the CRJ, DC-9, A320 & B787 since joining Air Canada in 1995. 

Ron was previous a Chairman of the Association of Star Alliance Pilots from 2014 to 2016 and was a member of the Air Canada Pilots Negotiating Committee in 2017.

Captain Daniel Cadieux

Captain Daniel Cadieux, ASAP Safety Officer

Safety Officer - Captain Daniel Cadieux (Air Canada)

Captain Daniel Cadieux, former Central Air Safety Chair for the Air Canada Pilots Association and ACA ALPA, currently serves as Safety Officer for the Executive Board of the Associations of Star Alliance Pilots (ASAP).

A certified NTSB accident investigator and Boeing 777 Captain with Air Canada, he brings deep expertise in aviation safety management and accident investigation.

Throughout his career, he has been committed to advancing global safety standards and advocating on behalf of pilots.
